Well the exciting story around here these days is just how I get the handsome, cute, smart boys.. Im just the big woman on campus doing my thing. Alright, so actually not really, this little tidbit of information will just show you what kind of a crowd I really attract. Today I was just going through my normal routine, just got to campus and was walking across to get to the library. I stopped at the bookstore to get myself a pack of gum and continued on my way, I walked into the LA building and someone started saying um excuse me, louder and louder so I finally turned around to see what was right behind me. A man with a shiny head, a tight black sweater/jacket and a nervous grin was just standing there looking at me, he said, "I saw you in the bookstore and just had to get your name, I would have never forgiven myself." The thoughts going through my head were, this is odd, why does this nice looking 35 year old bald dad need my name? Well I told him Mallory and he said his was Dan. He proceeded to ask questions, such as, "Are you a vegetarian? and could I take you out sometime?" Everyone that knows me, knows that I am far from a vegetarian and that a nice big Mac is one of my favorites. So I said "No, Im not a vegetarian, and im sorry but I'm dating someone right now." (I just had to lie.. so awful I know.) He went on to say, "Oh I get it, bad timing. ok well I can't tell your future and you cant tell your future so what if he breaks up with you tomorrow?" My super clever, smart, and quick response was, "I. would. be. sad." yeah. So then he finally just pretty much wouldnt let me go and I gave him my number and he said he was going to call in a month to see if my status was still the same. I felt so bad for already lying that I actutally gave him my real number.. could be the biggest mistake ever, im just not good when I'm put on the spot. I was inching away and starting walking the opposite direction and he practically yelled down the big echoie hallway, "Oh and you walk way too fast."
Goodnight and happy getting hit on!
